Scholarship Programme

Established by Mello Jones & Martin in 1998, the Legal Scholarship provides a financial award in the amount of $25,000 to an outstanding young Bermudian or PRC holder with the right to work in Bermuda wishing to enter the field of law and return to Bermuda to practice.

Kimberley Caines (pictured here) is the recipient of the MJM Scholarship for 2009. Kimberley is a graduate of the Bermuda High School for Girls. She received her BA (Honours) from the University of Western Ontario and her LLB (Honours) from The City Law School. Kimberley is currently attending the City Law School BVC program. Kimberley participated in a mini-pupillage in 2008. She has participated in moots, pro bono work and campus involvement during her time at university.
