MJM Raises $75K for Cancer Research

On September 18th, 2005 the Partners and their spouses were proud to join more than 6,000 walkers in the 17th annual Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk in Boston, Mass.
Team Mello Jones & Martin, Bermuda, placed sixth out of 433 teams for their fundraising efforts. Our 14 participants also had the highest amount of funds raised per walker.
Overall, the walk raised $3.5 million in support for research work at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. For over 50 years, the Jimmy Fund has been supporting Dana Farber researchers as they find more effective treatments and prevention strategies for adults and children around the world with cancer.
