Mello Jones & Martin Appoints Bermudian Denis de Frias as Partner

Mello Jones & Martin Barristers and Attorneys, one of Bermuda’s leading professional services firms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Denis de Frias as Partner, effective February 1st, 2006.

Currently, Mr. de Frias heads the firm’s Property Practice, and he is responsible for a wide range of property matters which include residential and commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, mortgages, condominium developments and other property transactions.

A Bermudian, Mr. de Frias was educated at Warwick Academy and York University, Canada, where he obtained a degree in Economics. He holds a law degree (LL.B) from the University of Kent, England and he obtained his diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) from BPP Law School, London, England. On his return to Bermuda, Mr. de Frias joined Mello Jones & Martin in 1997 and was called to the Bermuda Bar in 1998. Mr. de Frias joins his brother, Hildeberto de Frias, who was made a partner with the firm on February 1, 2005.
