Nathan Samuels Called to the Bermuda Bar

(Hamilton, Bermuda) - Mello Jones & Martin, Barristers and Attorneys, one of Bermuda’s leading legal services firms, is pleased to announce that Nathan Samuels was called to the Bermuda Bar Association today.

Bermudian Nathan Samuels is employed at Mello Jones & Martin as a Trainee Barrister and Attorney. He is a three year scholarship winner having joined the firm as a student in 2001. Since 2005 he has spent his year-long pupilage in all three of the firm’s departments: Corporate; Litigation; and Property Trusts and Estates.

Mr. Samuels began his legal education at the Bermuda College in the University of Kent Law Programme in 2000. Having completed the LL.B. Part I, Mr. Samuels continued his studies at the University of Kent in England, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts—Law and Philosophy. In 2004, he graduated from the College of Law in London with a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice and has since returned to Bermuda to train as a Barrister and Attorney.

The Bermuda Bar Association (BBA) is the governing body for the legal profession in Bermuda and was incorporated by the Bermuda Bar Act of 1974. The Association is responsible for both the regulation and discipline of members of the legal profession in Bermuda. Members of the BBA are accepted based on character, academic excellence and legal qualifications.
